Subscription & Recurring Billing Terms
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These terms apply to recurring services billed by PRIME ICT, including connectivity, hosting, cloud, managed IT, security, and software subscriptions. They supplement our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Scope
A 'subscription' is any service billed on a recurring cycle. By subscribing, you authorise us to bill the agreed amount on the agreed cycle until the subscription is cancelled or expires.
2. Automatic Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled within the required notice period. Fixed-term contracts renew or end as stated in your contract.
3. Billing Dates & Cycle
- Most services are billed monthly in advance.
- Your billing cycle start date is set on activation or contract commencement.
- Initial invoices may include pro-rated charges for a partial first period.
4. Failed Payments & Grace Periods
- If a recurring payment fails, we will attempt to retry and notify you.
- A reasonable grace period may be offered before a service is suspended.
- Services may be suspended if invoices remain unpaid beyond the grace period.
- Reconnection after suspension may attract a reconnection fee.
5. Cancellation Notice
Month-to-month subscriptions may be cancelled on the notice period stated in your plan (typically one billing cycle). Fixed-term contracts follow the cancellation terms in your contract. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to support@prime-ict.co.za.
6. Price Changes
We may adjust pricing on reasonable notice. Price increases on fixed-term contracts apply from the renewal date, not mid-term. We will notify active customers of material price changes in advance.
7. Promotional Pricing
Promotional or discounted rates apply for the stated period and revert to the standard rate afterwards. Promotions are subject to their stated terms and may be withdrawn for new subscribers at any time without affecting existing subscribers during their promotional period.
8. Taxes
All prices include VAT where applicable. If tax legislation changes, we may adjust pricing to remain compliant.
9. Suspension for Non-Payment
We may suspend a subscription for non-payment after the grace period. Suspension does not release you from paying accrued charges, and data or functionality may be restricted during suspension.
10. Refunds on Subscriptions
Subscriptions are generally non-refundable for the current billing period once it has started. Service credits may apply for confirmed SLA breaches as set out in your contract.
